The TLM model can be used to investigate the effects of a non-uniform initial moisture content. For example, the plots below are for an initial moisture content of 30% in the bottom package and 60% in the top package.

These plots show the effect of an initial moisture content of 30% on the hot electrode side and 60% on the ground electrode side. The difference in moisture content remains throughout the drying cycle.

These plots are for an initial moisture content of 60% on the inside and 30% on the outside.
