Poman P.M. So received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and physics from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1985. He obtained the B.A.Sc. (summa cum laude) and M.A.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in 1987 and 1989 respectively. He has been engaged in research on the computer-aided design of millimeter and millimeter-wave circuits, TLM techniques for solving electromagnetic problems. He is also the author of the 2D-TLM and 3D-TLM simulators.
In June 1992, he joined the research team of the NSERC/MPR Teltech Industrial Research Chair in RF Engineering as a Research Engineer. He is also working toward his Ph.D. degree at the University of Victoria.
