Research Objectives
Using advanced computer techniques, develop novel methods and procedures for the numerical modeling of guiding and radiating structures for electromagnetic waves, - Develop analysis and design procedures for structures of arbitrary geometry and electrical composition.
- Create user-friendly CAD tools which link geometry, layout, physical and processing parameters of practical components and circuits with their system specifications and their desired time and frequency performance.
Applications include microwave and millimeter-wave communications, Radar, remote sensing, and, more recently, RF drying of softwood lumber.
